We carefully selected our equipment.
Ski equipment
Skis
- Atomic TM:10 - 159 cm
We will use this ski on the Cho Oyu. The Atomic TM:10 combines a light weight (essential
to get to the summit) with good skiing behavior (essential to
descend in the difficult snow at 8000 + meters).

cm

allround Alpine ski. We use this ski when ski lifts are around. The ski weighs 10 kg! Just for fun!
Bindings

Ski boots
- Scarpa Laser
This mountaineering ski boot enables to click in

Testing this system in the alps has proven a success. We combine this ski boot with the Millet Everest inner shoe and a Yeti Berghaus extrem overshoe to maximize warmth, minize weight and contain good skiing properties. When the temperatures tend to the absolute zero, we add a neoprene sole under our innershoes.

We use this Neoprene inner boot in combination with
the Scarpa Laser when the temperatures are far below
zero.
