We believe in sustainable development. We do not merely want to use the beautiful country Nepal, but we want to give something back to Nepal and its people. Therefore, we support an education project in Nepal.
Our friend Ngima Dorji Sherpa has founded several primary schools over the past years in the Solo Kumbhu region in Nepal. These schools are functionning very well now, but lots of improvements still need to be made. Teachers have to be paid and facilities have to be renewed.
As a team we will donate 1 euro for every altitude meter reached on the Cho Oyu. If the expedition is succesful, we will donate 8201 euro to help the Mera primary school.
The money will be used to build additional facilities and to help finance the teacher's salary. Every cent will go directly to the school.
