After returning from the Netherlands, we headed for the Alps again for our final training session before our departure to the Himalayas on March 1. The goal of this final training session is to acclimatize and refine our ski mountaineering skills by climbing and skiing several of Europe's highest peaks. Herman joins us during the first week, enabling us to discuss the last details with the entire team.
Our first target is the Weissmies (4017 m). |
