This morning the team left OC&C camp 1 at 9.15hr. It was a very good day. There was no wind and the morning was all sunny. Only in the afternoon there came clouds with snow. All the team members were strong today and reached Fugro camp 2 without problems. This means not that it was easy!
After arrival in Fugro camp 2 everybody had soup and hot drinks. At the moment it is still snowing in Fugro camp 2 as it is in base camp. Hopefully tomorrow there will be sunshine again without strong winds.
Tomorrow the team will leave for Vicks camp 3. In the afternoon the Sherpa's will place fixed ropes above Vicks camp 3. Then on the 19th the team will head for the summit!
Today, from base camp, Herman had several radio talks with Joost, Greg and the Sherpa's, on their way and at Fugro camp 2.
